CONTEXT
How can immersive art help audiences explore their relationship with the natural world? The Garden Says… approaches this question through a contemplative experience, giving visitors time to slow down, become curious and discover ecological interdependence.
SOLUTION
The artwork unfolds as a collective ritual, bringing digital imagery into the physical space through mixed reality. Multisensory interaction invites visitors of all ages to explore a world shaped by art, technology and ecology.
Presented either as a standalone installation or with performers, the experience follows an open rhythm that encourages imagination and shared discovery.
IMPACT
The Garden Says… creates opportunities for audiences to experience ecological themes through participation and shared presence.
Selected for the Venice Biennale College in 2022, the project has since received a Special Mention at CPH and was presented at the Venice Biennale and SMK Fridays in 2025.
Its continued development includes presentations across museums, botanical gardens, festivals and online platforms, alongside partnerships with cultural institutions, schools and communities to encourage dialogue about our relationship with nature.
