For The Royal Collection, Khora created an interactive digital tapestry where visitors’ memories were transformed through AI into an evolving collective artwork.
SOLUTION
Khora was invited to design and implement an interactive installation that would capture the collective memories of the attendees. The task was to develop a digital tapestry that evolved throughout the festival weekend, where guests shared their most defining memories from the last 25 years, creating a visual representation of collective experience.
IMPACT
The exhibition “Vi husker sammen” (Remembering Together) an interactive digital tapestry that allowed visitors to submit their memories and vote on the most impactful events from the past quarter-century. Through AI technology, these contributions were woven into the final tapestry, creating a living, evolving artwork. The project blended tradition with innovation, honoring the past while engaging present-day visitors in a creative, collaborative experience.
